Coming from a working-class family and as a union member himself, Jesus understands the everyday challenges families across Harris County face. He believes every taxpayer deserves a fair, transparent, and accountable property appraisal process.

Jesus is running for Harris Central Appraisal District Place 3 because he believes HCAD should be responsive to the community and accountable to the taxpayers who depend on it. Property values and appraisals affect homeowners, renters, families, and small businesses throughout Harris County, and the people who serve on the appraisal district board have a responsibility to make sure the system is administered fairly and transparently.

Jesus has spent years advocating for his community, from helping people participate in our democracy and register to vote to his work with Young Invincibles supporting public education and civic engagement. That experience has taught him the importance of listening to residents, understanding the issues that affect their daily lives, and holding institutions accountable.

As a working-class union member, Jesus understands that rising property values and property taxes can have a real impact on household budgets. He believes taxpayers deserve clear information, accessible processes, and leaders who will ask tough questions and demand accountability.

As your representative on the Harris Central Appraisal District Board, Jesus will focus on transparency, taxpayer accountability, accessibility, and responsible stewardship. He believes homeowners and property owners should have a voice, understand how the appraisal process works, and have confidence that their concerns are being heard.

For Jesus, this campaign is about more than property values. It is about making sure working families, homeowners, seniors, and small businesses across Harris County have a voice in the institutions that affect their lives.
